A Custom Map For Mega Man
Heavenly and Aggressive is a level I created in order to teach new players how to play the original Mega Man. The level follows the basic design principles outlined by Akira Kitamura, featuring secrets, multiple endings, difficult platforming, and strategically placed enemies. The level layout is of classic Mega Man, featuring rooms with the iconic 'S' shape, rising and descending platforming, and of course the classic boss fight. Enemies are limited to just a handful of different types, ensuring that the level is fair and not too difficult. On top of this, having two different endings within the level, was added to create replay-ability. Plus, the secrets found within the level play into these endings which unlock powerful bonus', perfect for less experienced players.
The level was created using the fan made "Mega Man Maker", with the level being released online within the program.
